Finding geolocations in Prewave

This article guides you on how to find geolocations within the questionnaire interface in Prewave

You are currently filling out the Prewave Product Origin Request, and you have been asked to add coordinates of an origin, connected to a product.

How do I find the exact location of my Product Origin?

An origin is the physical location of a producer - this could be a farm, factory, site or other area where something is being produced. To find these coordinates you will need to draw a polygon (a shape) around the exact location where the production is happening.

How to do this:

1. Click the Draw on map selection

2. Search for the Producer Address or location

3. Zoom in until you find the exact location

4. Click the "Draw Polygon" icon

5. Click one point at the edge of the production area, then click points on each corner or border of the production area, completing a polygon around it.

Double click your mouse to finish the polygon drawing.

6. When finished, you will see that the geo-coordinates have been copied into the Plot (GeoJSON) field. You can now click Save.
